It can become very expensive especially in rural market to support card payments when the amounts are small…

Example - the traditional R5-R10 a day becomes very expensive

Would be great if a customer can do a wallet top-up where you set the minimum amount, they can then use funds from the wallet to buy vouchers when needed. If you want to do R5 a day then it come from the wallet but the initial top-up amount was set far higher than the per day voucher fee

Customer can then top-up their account using any payment method of their choice and select the right voucher when needed

What this would fix

1) 1 check-out instead of multiples which increases fees

2) checkout friction because you dont have to checkout for every voucher purchased

3) Customer retention because customer will not leave money in the wallet and use a different provider

4) Better cash flow because higher transactions are processed for top-up amounts

5) Add auto-renewal plan linked to wallet

6) Referral- Refer a friend and get wallet top-up which can be use for voucher

7) Loyalty program, buy X amount of vouchers/Revenue value and get a free top-up in your wallet

8) Marketing - We haven’t seen you in a while. Here is X amount top-up in your wallet

9) Family wallet - Family buys vouchers when needed And shared across multiple destinations

10) Sponsorships and gifts - Give each learner X amount of credit into their wallet
